TWAS - Empowering scientific research in Nepal

In a new film shot in Nepal by local filmmaker Shanta Nepali, TWAS showcases the positive impact of its research grants on science in a least developed country. By recruiting local professionals, TWAS avoided carbon dioxide emissions. Also, the 'from within' perspective granted by local personnel offered a crisp glimpse of local culture and problems. The film's production was supported by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida), a TWAS long-standing partner.
